Pair of top-10's in Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot
After Thursday’s practice session, Brandon Overton joined 50 Super Late Models at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) over the weekend for the 30th annual Coors Light Fall Classic.
With dual preliminary features on Friday kicking off the two-day event, Overton backed up a runner-up heat showing with a consistent fourth-place finish his 30-lap $3,000-to-win prelim.
On Saturday, Brandon’s fourth-to-second heat showing positioned him on the sixth row for the Coors Light Fall Classic finale. With $20,000 payday up for grabs, Brandon muscled forward five spots in the 60-lap affair to register a seventh-place finish.
