Trey Mills
11th-place outing in Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park
At the track where he secured his first-career Super Late Model victory, Trey Mills walked into Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) on Friday afternoon to kick off the 30th-annual Coors Light Fall Classic.
With a huge 51-car field on hand, Mills fell back to seventh in his heat race which relegated him to a 19th-place starting spot in his preliminary feature. Trey stormed forward in the quick 30-lap feature and finished just outside the Top-5 in sixth.
With the big money up for grabs on Saturday night, Trey secured the final transfer spot in his B-Main and would start 23rd in the $20,000-to-win feature. Once again powering through the field, Mills made up 12 positions to finish just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
