Ryan Timms rockets to fourth in NARC Series at Kern County

A pair of NARC 410 Sprint Car Series events brought Ryan Timms to California over the weekend to compete in the Roth Motorsports No. 83 Sprint Car.

On Friday at Kevin Harvick’s Kern County Raceway (Bakersfield, Cali.), Timms raced to his first NARC Top-5 in the feature. Taking the green from the sixth row, Ryan climbed seven positions to register a fourth-place finish. He chased Tim Kaeding, Justin Sanders, and Dominic Scelzi to the checkers with Dominic Gorden coming in fifth.

For the Anthony Simone Classic at King Speedway (Hanford, Cali.) on Saturday, Ryan qualified 10th-fastest in his group before placing third in his heat race. Capping off the weekend with another strong run, Timms rolled to a sixth-place finish in the 30-lap affair.
