PARSONS OUTRUNS HUGHES TO FINISH IN NIGHT TWO OF KING OF THE STREETS AT OCALA SPEEDWAY
Union Groves, North Carolina’s Jeff Parsons made it no secret, he was anxious to come to Ocala Speedway in a new car just completed about a month ago to race in the King of the Streets week announcing his plans in December.
Night, one proved to be problematic garnering a respectable fifth place finish.
Night two would be a different story as Parsons's led early in his Bombus Embroidery & T’s, BMF Racecars, Parsons Towing, Virginia Driveline & Differential, HST Shock Service Street Stock and held off all challenges from Meridian, Mississippi's Spencer Hughes, Norco, Louisiana’s Caiden Jackson and Greenville, Mississippi’s Carl Kilgrove IV.
Parson’s holding a pretty wheel held his line nicely to best Hughes to the line by 0.140 seconds.
“I’ve won some good size races but this one is special,” said Jeff
“I’ve ran a lot of tracks but Ocala Speedway’s turn three and four is like no other track and you need to learn how to manage it if you want to win.” he concluded
