Seawright grabs 15th-place finish with HTF Series at Whynot Motorsports Park
With over 40 Super Late Models headed for the Mississippi oval, Sam Seawright joined the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) on Friday afternoon for the House of Hook Showdown.
After qualifying 11th-quickest in his group, Seawright fell backwards in both his heat race and last chance race which forced him to use a provisional starting spot for the 40-lap main event. Sam made up 11 positions in the $8,000-to-win show to finish 15th.
Saturday's $12,000-to-win finale was called off due to an unfavorable forecast.
