Payton Freeman races into King of the Mountain at Smoky Mountain Speedway
Back behind the wheel of the F1, Payton Freeman checked in with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for the doubleheader at Sugar Creek Raceway (Blue Ridge, Ga.) and Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.).
Falling back in his heat race, Freeman did not make the $8,000-to-win weekend opener at Sugar Creek. Payton made Saturday's $15,000-to-win show at Smoky, but did not finish and was scored 24th.
