The all-time winningest Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series driver of 23 previous visits at Ponderosa Speedway is Victor Lee with four victories. The American Late Model Iron-Man Series has visited 201 Speedway on five previous occasions.

After nine points races (one being non-points), Colten Burdette of Parkersburg, W.V. has a 33-point lead in the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP over defending series champion Rusty Schlenk of McClure, Ohio.
