Harbor Classic Weekend Purses Announced For Northwest Extreme Late Models And Sprint Cars

Elma, Washington- The Harbor Classic Weekend at Grays Harbor Raceway are some dates on the racing calendar that you do not want to miss. It will have an extremely diverse lineup of classifications racing over the course of three days from Sprint Cars, to Late Models, to IMCA Modifieds, and much more. Two of those classes are the grounding pounding excitement of the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series and the breathtaking fast Northwest Extreme Winged Sprint Cars.
For the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series they will compete on Saturday August 31st and Sunday September 1st. The first night will be $500.00 to win and $200.00 to start the feature. The second will be the same payout except if you make it out for both nights you will receive a $100.00 bonus no matter where you finish but YOU MUST COMPETE IN BOTH NIGHTS OF RACING.
The Northwest Extreme Winged Sprints will be in action on Sunday September 1st and will be the support class for the World of Outlaw Sprints on Monday the 2nd. The first night’s pay will consist of $500.00 to win and $150.00 to start. The second night will remain the same but like the aforementioned Late Models there will be a $100.00 bonus added to the pay for teams that compete for both races but YOU MUST COMPETE IN BOTH NIGHTS OF RACING. The Northwest Extreme Winged Sprints will utilize the Cottage Grove Speedway format.
A full payout will be provided below for both divisions as well as the format that the Northwest Extreme Sprints will utilize for the weekend. We hope everyone can make it out for all three of what will be fantastic nights of action at Grays Harbor Raceway.
The Grays Harbor Raceway is known for its high speeds and side by side racing as well as its large track size. Hosting racing action from April to October regular classes include 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Street Stocks, Hornets, and for the first time the Northwest Extreme Winged Sprint Car Series. Special events include visits by the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series and American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region. Northwest Extreme Winged Sprints Format
Qualifying- 2 Laps
Trophy Dash- Fastest 4 cars inverted, 4 Laps
Heat Races- 4 car invert from qualifying, 10 Laps
Main Event- Will be lined up by heat race finish with a dice roll invert, 30 Laps
Fan will roll dice for invert
0, 6, or 8 (Only the top 4 are included in the invert)
0-Chip: Main Event lineup heads up from Heat Race results
6-Chip: Invert the top 6 from the Heats
8-Chip: Invert the top 8 from the Heats
