Wheel to Wheel, Wall to Wall Racing Action Set for this Holiday Weekend.

Terry Mattox - SAPULPA, Okla. (August 27th, 2013) - Another Holiday is upon us, and as some gear up and head to the lake with the family, some will attend some of the best of the best, wheel to wheel, wall to wall, racing action at this Saturday night at the Creek County Speedway.

The Eighth Week, of the “Race for the Championship” will headline this week’s action with all 5 “Weekly Racing Series” divisions taking to the 1/4 mile.

Still out commanding the Champ Sprint division is Brent Bates as he leads second place Ricky York by 409 markers. Falling back to the third spot in the Champ Sprint point standings is the young rookie Christian York sitting 4 points behind Ricky, and Jackie York and Robby Sherrell round out the top 5.

You’ve got a new leader in the “Mighty Modified” division. Ho Dean has taken over the top spot leading Dena Wilson by 4 points. Brett “The Jet” Wilson has fallen to the third spot 9 points behind Dena and 15 points behind Ho Dean, Shaun Rowell and Anthony Neel round out the top 5 in the “Race” for the Modified Championship.

The new point leaders keep coming, as Kevin Brewer has taken over the points lead in the “Down and Dirty” Dwarf Car division leading second place Jeff Record by 5 points. David Cummins has made his way up to the third spot, with Larry Pense and Rick Cochran rounding out the top 5.

Josh Jeffries leads the “Fast and Furious” Factory Stock division coming into week 8 of the “Race” with a 241 point lead over Jimmy Owen. Bobby Wolfe still resides in the third spot, with Toby Cooper, and Dann Gray rounding out the top 5.

Daniel Ray Denton sits on top of the points chart with a comfortable 375 point lead over his cousin Dee Denton. Front Wheel Driver Michael Rodman continues to hold down the third spot in the points standings, with Jimmy Masterson and Dearl Harrison rounding out the top 5.

Load up the kids, call your mother in law and bring them all out to “The Creek” this Saturday night for the fastest fun around!

Gates open at 5:0; Hotlaps at 7:00; and the green flag flies at 7:30!

Tickets just $10 for Adults, Kids 10-14 $6 and children under 10 are always FREE! Pit Passes $30.

Creek County Speedway is a fast quarter mile oval located outside Sapulpa, Oklahoma on historic Route 66. CCS has been bringing high octane excitement to race fans since 1986.
