Perricone Ends Season on a High at World Finals

Jim posted his best qualifying time of 14.558 on Thursday night. Fridays show had Jim starting in Heat 2 with Donny Schatz and other tough hitters. However, at the start the motor did not pick up as expected and later with a 7th place in the D Main the team realized a $28 fuel filter had failed resulting in some disappointing results. Saturday brought some engine help and chassis set up assistance for the J&J Auto Racing 10P. Jim would go out again in Heat 2 with the now World of Outlaws champion Daryn Pittman and second place points finisher Donny Schatz. Jim would start 11th and moved up two positions to finish 9th. The Ronny Howard Racing motor was running well and Jim started the D Main in 6th and finished the night with a 5th place run. The team was happy the new car and motor got dialed in and the team was able to announce their big plans for 2014. The team has talked with sponsors and is committed to running 20+ shows with the World of Outlaws in 2014. The team has tested their new equipment and motor and is ready for the the Winter Nationals come February.
