Cottage Grove, Oregon- With one race in the books in 2014, Cottage Grove Speedway is set to host its first Pepsi Family Night on Saturday April 19th. We will offer our normal family pass for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00 but being that it is Pepsi Family Night complimentary small soft drink beverages will be included with the admission. Also don’t miss our extra special Egg Hunt that we will be hosting too.

Classes competing includes the Northwest Extreme Sprints, Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, and Street Stocks. Also the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will take on the local Late Model contingent as they start their 2014 season.

Of the four classes on tap this Saturday three of them have already had their first race of the season. Braedon Hand managed to pick up the clean sweep last Saturday night in IMCA Modified action while Justin Evans was able to win the first Street Stock feature in 2014. Rob Mayea was able to win the non-point Late Model event as well as the $500.00 bonus courtesy of X-Factor Race Cars and this weekend will mark their first point race of the campaign.

Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:45. Tickets for this event are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE.

Just a friendly reminder if you haven’t already ordered your 2014 Cottage Grove Speedway Season Pass this is the last week to do so, they will no longer be offered after April 19th. For more information log on to www.cottagegrovespeedway.com.
