Heritage Days
Rock Rapids will celebrate Heritage Days June 19-22 and Rapid Speedway will be racing both Friday and Saturday night! On Friday, June 20 we will be having our first 360 Sprint Car Special of the season! With $1200 to win, this should be a great race. We will also have our weekly lineup of USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and our Sportsmans class. Tickets will be $15 for adults, $5 for kids (ages 7-14) and FREE for kids 6 and under. Pit passes will be $25. We will start at our regular time which is hot laps at 7:00 and racing at 7:30. Then the next night, the Lyon County Fair Association will have their first Figure 8 Races of the season. This series got started in Sibley, IA on May 31 with Steven DeJong taking the early point lead. The Figure Eights will start at 7:00.
