Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway will be hosting two nights of action within a span of four days. The first event will be on Wednesday July 2nd for the annual Speedweek Northwest date featuring the American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region and the Street Stock/Sportsman Challenge. It will be a non-point affair for the support classes on Wednesday night.

But wait it doesn’t end there as the fine folks at Crocker’s Cars will present the 2014 edition of the Firecracker 100. Classes on tap include the X-Factor Race Cars Super Late Models, Wirth Wireless IMCA Modifieds, and the Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman.

The American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region will be in action for the fourth straight night during Speedweek Northwest when they arrive at Willamette. Some of the best drivers in the country will be on tap including Rico Abreu, Jonathan Allard, Bud Kaeding, Kyle Hirst, and many many more. The ASCS-Northwest Region has been at Willamette just once this year with Jared Peterson putting on a clinic to pick up the victory.

Rob Mayea and Joey Tanner are tied for the most wins in 2014 X-Factor Race Cars Super Late Model action as each have two triumphs over Steve Moore, John Duty, and 2014 Topless Showdown winner Justin Duty who all have won once. The class will be the headline for Saturday night as they will compete in a one-hundred lap feature, the Crocker’s Cars Firecracker 100. Crocker’s has added to the purse increasing it to $1,500.00 to win and $150.00 to start. In the last two one-hundred lap feature Trevor Glaser has been the big winner.

Matt Mitchell and Jeremy Shank leads the win column for the Wirth Wireless IMCA Modfieds as the only drivers to win twice in the division. Drivers who have visited victory lane on one occasion include Collen Winebarger, Kyle Yeack, Craig Cassell, and Monte Bischoff.

The Albany & Eastern Railroad has witnessed some great racing this year as Brian Winkler, Jeff Rash, and Brian Smith are all tied on the win chart headed into the weekend with two wins. Jeff Marson, Ron Berry, and Briley Pompe are all drivers with a single trip to victory lane so far.

Although they will race with the Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman on Wednesday we do want to mention some of the winners so far this year in the Street Stocks. Kyle Yeack and Justin Evans are level at the top with two apiece while Erik Jarnport and Bricen James have just one win this year.

Prices for the show are Adults $15.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $13.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $8.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE. Racing is scheduled to get underway around 7:00 PM.
