Cottage Grove Speedway Back For Springfield Chamber/Pepsi Night Saturday July 12th

Cottage Grove, Oregon- Cottage Grove Speedway will be in action on Saturday July 12th for Springfield Chamber of Commerce Night. Classes competing include the Northwest Wingless Tour, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, W.R.S. Late Model Lites, and Hornets. It will also be a Pepsi Family Night which means we will offer our normal Family Pass rate but folks that purchase one will receive complimentary soft drinks courtesy of Pepsi and the Bigfoot Beverage Company.
The Northwest Wingless Tour has only been to CGS once and Colin Baker was the big winner. Braedon Hand and Mark Wauge are still tied at three in the wins column when it comes to the IMCA Modifieds. Jesse Williamson and most recently Tom Berry Jr.
Evan Britton has won the last three Street Stock events while Justin Evans is the only other repeat winner with two. Steve Begley and T.J. Langan each have one. Taunton Swaim has four and joining him as the only driver to win more than once is Chris Pierce. Josh Corley and Eric Cooper have managed to grace victory lane on just one single occasion.

Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:45. Tickets are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a Family Pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
