Two Weeks Remain in the Race for the Fast Five Weekly Series Championship.

Terry Mattox - SAPULPA, Okla. (August 27, 2014) - With only two weeks remaining in “Fast Five Weekly Series” action, it will all come down to the next two weeks to determine the Champion in the Champ Sprint, Dwarf Car and Mini Stock divisions.

Winless on the season, Brandon James currently holds the top spot in the Champ Sprint division, with a 22 point lead over Brent Bates who has picked up five feature wins so far this season. Ricky York currently resides in the third spot in points, with Kevin Brewer and Len Larkin rounding out the top five.

The top three in the A-Modified standings have each picked up two feature wins in 2014. Ho Dean currently leads the pack of “Mighty” Modifieds into this Saturday night’s affair, with a 278 point lead over second place Johnny DeRamus. Last week’s feature winner Anthony Neel holds on to third, with Spencer Hill and Clent Southerland rounding out the top five.

Currently holding the most feature wins this season in the Dwarf Car division with seven is your current point’s leader Rob McQuary. Jorge Chacon who has two wins on the season sit in the second spot 75 points behind McQuary. Holding down third is the man with five wins on the season Larry Pense. Todd Reynolds and Jeff Record bring up the top five.

The man to beat this season in the Factory Stock division, Bobby Wolfe has won 12 feature events in 2014 and is your point’s leader in the division. Sitting 413 points behind Wolfe, is Jimmy Owen. Tommie Romine currently rounds out the podium, with Toby Cooper and James Esmond rounding out the top five.

27 points currently separate Josh Tyre and Dee Denton in the Mini Stock point standings. Josh currently leads the points with one feature win on the season. Denton sits in second with four wins to his credit this year. Evan Smith resides in the third spot, also having a feature win to his name, with Chris Miles and Michael Stucks rounding out the top five.

Fast Five Weekly Series racing kicks off at 7PM on Saturday, August 30 with Gates opening at 4:30PM. General Admission is $10 for Adults, Kids 10-14 are $6 and Children under 10 are FREE!

Creek County Speedway is a fast quarter mile oval located six miles west of Sapulpa on historic Route 66, just north of Kellyville. Creek County Speedway has been bringing high octane excitement to race fans since 1986.
