Lebanon, Oregon- This upcoming weekend will once again be quite busy for fans and drivers of Willamette Speedway. Two events are planned starting with the second Kart race of the season on Friday May 15th. Then Saturday the 16th the 1/3-mile clay oval gets back into the swing of things. Classes racing Saturday include the IMCA Modfieids, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

General admission to the Friday Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 4:00 PM and racing is scheduled to begin around 6:30.

The IMCA Modifieds have raced twice so far this season and two different drivers have won. Collen Winebarger and Dustin Cady have stood in victory lane hoisting the winner's check already. Will a third different winner emerge after Saturday night and continue the trend?

The same can be said in the Super Sport division. Brian Smith, Chris Mott, and most recently Randy Barley have won once. But will drivers like Gil Pickett or Jerry Casey rise to the occasion after having some great runs this year?

The Sportsman ranks have yet to see a repeat winner too. In four races there have been four drivers raise the trophy to the sky. They include Sandy Sanders, Jeff Rash, Dennis Archer, and Tom Yeack. Yeack has been very fast in a handful of starts but don't count out James Slover or last year's champ Brian Winkler just to name a few.

Finally the Street Stocks is the only class at Willamette where there has been a repeat winner. Justin Evans has taken care of business for his car owner Al Flora by visiting victory lane three times in 2015 including the last two weeks straight. Steve Jorgensen is the only other victor but there may be a new face come Saturday. Could it be Talyn Roberts, Shannon Horn, or Austin Bottcher? Or will it be someone else?

Find out all the answers to these questions and more this Saturday May 16th at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon. Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00.

Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
