Elma, Washington- On Saturday May 16th the Northwest Wingless Tour will tackle the largest track they will compete on all season long. Grays Harbor Raceway will be the site of the second race of the 2015 NWWT campaign. The 3/8-mile clay oval is sure to amaze folks in the crowd as these Non-Wing 360 Sprints will race side by side and reach speeds that exceed one-hundred miles per hour.

Last Saturday, May 9th, the Northwest Wingless Tour was in action for the first time this season at Cottage Grove Speedway. Kyle Miller was in dominant form sweeping the entire evening's events and winning his twentieth career NWWT victory.

The NWWT has visited Grays Harbor Raceway thirteen times and has seen nine different winners. Kyle Miller has the most wins so far that anyone has managed to achieve, with three, since the series started to visit GHR in 2009.

Reece Goetz is the only other driver to win more than once with his sweep of the Big E Weekend back in 2011. Jeff Bell, Travis Rilat, Shawn Rice, J.J. Hickle, Evan Margeson, and Seth Bergman are five drivers that have visited victory lane once when the tour has come to town. 2014 winners include Mike Romig and Sean Johnson both were the first of their careers with the NWWT and at GHR.

Not only will the NWWT regulars be on tap but so will the Oregon Double Shot Series. The ODSS competed at Madras Speedway last weekend and Wayne Van Raden managed to pick up the win. The car count should be pretty good with addition of some of these talented drivers.

Pit Gates open at 4:00 PM while Front Gates open at 5:00 and Racing is scheduled to begin around 7:00. Admission is $13.00 for Adults, $9.00 for Juniors (7-17)/Seniors (62+)/Active Military, Children 6 & Under are FREE, while a Family Pass (consisting of two Adults and up to four Kids (ages 7-15)) is just $34.00. Kids that are 7-15 that accompany an Adult get into the races for only $5.00 and Premium Seating is $18.00 per seat.
