Willamette Speedway would host some great racing on Saturday May 16th. For the most part victory lane was made up of new faces with only one driver winning for the second time this season. The track would be extremely fast as new track records in time trials were set in three of the four classes. Classes in competition included the IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

Collen Winebarger continued his successful 2015 campaign by visiting victory lane for the second time of the season in his Discount Race Car Parts/FinishLine Graphics/Frisbie Motorsports #SW Shaw by Taylor. Winebarger, from Corbett, has recorded three wins total the other being at Sunset Speedway Park in April.

Albany's Dustin Cady ended his night second in the Drager Performance/Susan River Reality/Frank's Fab & Auto of Brownsville #7 GRT followed by the Rauch Racing #23 Victory of Chris Quinn from Vancouver, Washington, and racing for car owner Erika Rauch. Keizer native John Campos was fourth in his Northwest Family Chiropractic/Hot Rod Hair/Wes Sayre Customs/Drager Performance #36 GRT, in fourth, and the Metro Services/Dog Lover's Gold Dog Food/Northwest Gas Lines/Rose City RV #29 Shaw of Portland's Brian Cronk was fifth.

The Super Sports have yet to see a repeat winner this season as Gil Pickett from Salem would earn the victory. The Pickett Custom Cabinets #82 Swartz, of Pickett, became the fourth different winner in as many races.

The Archer Floor Covering #39 Swartz of Halsey's Dennis Archer was second while the Mott Family Racing #16 GRT, driven by Chris Mott of Salem, was third. The Knothole Market/Pratnum Co-Op/Hanson Automotive Machine/James Gang Pizza #99 Rayburn of Brian Smith from Albany was fourth followed by fellow Albany driver Randy Barley in fifth in his Dennis Automotive & Tires/Snap On Tools #13B Rayburn.

Although the car has seen victory lane already this year Corvallis' Kevin Williamson had not. Williamson, in the Sandy Sanders owned Royalty Homes #43 Avenger, got the job done and became the fourth different victor in the Sportsman division.

Tom Yeack from Crawfordsville was second in his Cascade Outdoor Power Equipment/Unlimited Business Service #49 Pro while the Flatt Muffler/Doerfler Farms/Extreme Motorsports #88 Rayburn, of Brian Winkler, hailing out of Newberg, ended the night third. Fourth would go to the Archer Floor Covering #39 of Gary Archer and Lebanon's Jeff Rash would place the Glen Hackney owned Wirth Wireless/Hackney Racing #1 Swartz in fifth.

Finally a new winner would emerge in the Street Stock ranks. Albany teenager Bricen James would score the victory in the James Gang Pizza/Lebanon Auto Body #13 machine. James would become the third different winner in five Street Stock races.

Kevin Roberts of Gresham was second in his Big Sky Landscaping #88 Camaro and the Doc's Photos/Ovarian Cancer Awareness #14J Camaro of Albany's Steve Jorgensen was third. The Tim's Automotive/Dick Kludt Trucking #28 Malibu of Bill Allison from Dallas ended his night fourth while Molalla driver Shannon Horn completed the top five in fifth in his Marson Transit/Marson Trucking #13H Camaro.
