Kart Races Rained Out For CGS; Saturday And Sunday Still On
Cottage Grove, Oregon- The Cottage Grove Speedway Kart race for Friday May 22nd due to rain that saturated the pits and the track preventing any racing from taking place. Racing on the 1/4-mile is still a go for Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th. The next scheduled Kart event is Friday June 12th.
Saturday night will be T-Shirt Night featuring the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks, and the Quality RV Repair Hornets. Being that it's T-Shirt Night if you wear a CGS T-Shirt or Sweatshirt you will receive $2.00 off your admission at the gate. Saturday Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, and 5 & Under FREE.
Sunday will see the return of the Western Sprint Tour 360 Sprints with a very good car count expected. Support classes include the IMCA Modifieds and the Quality RV Repair Hornets. Sunday tickets are Adults $15.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $13.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $8.00, and 5 & Under FREE.
