Dave Walters Wins His Second NELMS Race Of 2015

The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series invaded Willamette Speedway on Saturday May 30th for their one and only appearance of the 2015 season at the historic 1/3-mile clay oval. There would be some great racing throughout the course of the night and a total of nine entries would fill the pits representing the states of Oregon and Washington.
Boring's Dave Walters would seize the lead in his All-In Property Investments/X-Factor Race Cars/Warpaint Motorsports Graphix #67 MasterSbilt. Walters would have no issues at all throughout the course of the main event. The only thing to slow him down was the lone caution but either than that it was clear sailing. It would mark the second time in three starts that Walters has won with the NELMS group.
The Central Oregon Trucking/Driving Force Graphics/W.W. Trailers #31B Rocket of Ron Brewster, from Redmond, was second followed by Portland's Jody Tanner in the Xtreme Motorsports #36 Victory Circle in third. The balance of the top five would consist of the Jerry Schram owned Schram Brothers Excavating/Century III Stables/Bodies By Steve-O #16 MasterSbilt, chauffeured by Scio native Steve Moore, in fourth with fifth going to Britton Donahoo, out of Salem, in his O&O Farms/Kartco Racing #5 MasterSbilt.
Britton Donahoo was quickest in time trials while both the heat race and trophy dash was won by Steve Moore. The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series takes a few weeks off before they return on Saturday June 20th at Coos Bay Speedway.
