NELMS On Hand For SSP Fan Appreciation Night Presented By Rockstar

Banks, Oregon- The Northwest Late Model Series will return to familiar territory this Saturday June 27th. Sunset Speedway Park will be the site of the seventh race of 2015 with the tour. It will be the “Banks Bullring's” Fan Appreciation Night and should have some exciting action. The series has visited SSP thee times this year with Dave Walters, Joey Tanner, and Jason Johnson collecting wins.

The year has been off to a great start after total races being recorded in the books. Joey Tanner and Dave Walters are tied for most trips to victory lane with two apiece. Drivers that have managed to win once include Jason Johnson and Preston Luckman.

Sunset is the most visited track for the NELMS Series with a total of twenty-nine visits since 2010. Of those twenty-nine visits the tour has been on hand Greg Walters has won by far the most, visiting victory lane nineteen times. Collen Winebarger has three wins while drivers with just one include Terry Ferrando, Jerry Schram, Russ Sell, Billy Workman Jr., Dave Walters, Jason Johnson, and Joey Tanner.

Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:30 each night. Tickets for both events are Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
