Wingless Sprint Series Travels To Cottage Grove Speedway On Saturday May 21st

Cottage Grove, Oregon- The inaugural season of the Wingless Sprint Series continues this Saturday May 21st at Cottage Grove Speedway. It will be the first time the tour has been in action since May 7th at Madras. It is also the first visit to CGS which has hosted several different sanctioning bodies over the years.
A great car count is expected to be in attendance with the majority of the teams that attended the first race planning to make the trip. There will be quite a few new faces competing especially drivers that normally race Winged Sprint Cars.
Rob Lindsey was flawless in the opening leg of the Wingless Sprint Series. He managed to pull off a clean sweep at Madras Speedway and will look to another great night at Cottage Grove. But the competition is going to be quite stiff with some tough names expected to make the journey.
Keep a close eye on CGS’ track website (www.cottagegrovespeeway.com) and Facebook pages on the status of Saturday’s events. Tickets are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors $10.00, Youth (6-12) - $5.00, Family Pass $30.00, and Children 5 or under are FREE. As will happen all year long in honor of our 60th Anniversary the 60th fan through the Front Gate gets in for FREE. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, and Racing is scheduled to start around 6:30.
