Cottage Grove, Oregon- Saturday, August 13th is Historical Night at Cottage Grove Speedway. We want to urge our valued race fans to show up early and take some time to observe the dozens of historical display of memorabilia-filled with so much rich history of “The Grove”. Also for the first thousand hand fans you’ll receive a complimentary hand fan, with a special CGS Historical Night design on it, all made possible by the fine folks at Dot’s Trophy Shop.
“Last year I did this for the Marvin Smith race and they were a big hit,” said Kaerry Crha, owner and operator of Dot's Trophy Shop, “it’s the least I can do for the Deatherages. They have done so much for the race track and are doing such a great job to preserve the history of this place.”
Times for Saturday are Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, and Racing is scheduled to start around 6:30. Tickets are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, Family Pass $30.00, and Children 5 or under are FREE. As will happen all year long in honor of our 60th Anniversary the 60th fan through the Front Gate gets in for FREE. For more information log on to www.cottagegrovespeedway.com.
