SSP Ready For Rockstar Fan Appreciation Night On Saturday June 17th

Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park is gearing up for one of its most popular events on the calendar, Fan Appreciation Night presented by Rockstar. The race, on Saturday June 10th, will feature the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Bridgeport Logistics Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, IMCA Sport Mods, Dwarf Cars, 4-Bees, and New Bees. This evening will be QUALIFYING AND MAIN EVENTS ONLY for the racing program.
This is where all cars in the pits are rolled out onto the track and you get an opportunity to meet and greet your favorite drivers, so be sure to take advantage of this unique opportunity. Several drivers will have pictures or hero cards to hand out but are always up for posing for pictures with their awesome fans.
The Budweiser IMCA Modifieds have yet to see a repeat winner in 2017. Aaron Elwess, Bubba Foster, and John Campos have all recorded victories in the division. In Bridgeport Logistic Street Stock competition Arnie Case and Chris West have wins in the only two races thus far. Larry Brookshire is coming of a big Pure Stock win with the Bud Light Iron Man a few weeks back. Brookshire has two wins while Rob Ferree has just a single victory. The IMCA Sport Mods have completed just one event this season and John Henry was the winner.
In the Dwarf Cars Ryan Martinez has bested the field three times while Jake Van Ortwick is the only other winner with one trip to victory lane. John Gartner, Bob Berg, and Corey Watts have made it three different winners in as many races in the 4-Bee classification. Travis Zimmerly and Bailey Jackson are the two feature winners in the New Bees.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Time Trials begin at 5:30, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. For more information log on to www.sunsetspeedwaypark.com.
