Intermountain Snocross Racing

IMR Year End has been moved to the West Yellowstone EXPO

West Yellowstone has approached Intermountain SnoCross Racing to be in charge of the snocross race during the West Yellowstone Snowmobile Expo. After great thought, we have decided to do this for them. https://snowmobileexpo.com/registration/

IMR will be handling the snocross races on March 9 and March 10 in West Yellowstone. This means that ALL registrations need to go through the on-line system on our website at https://www.imrsnocross.com/.

Things to know about the Expo race:

  1. On-line registration closes on Wednesday, March 7 at midnight. Registration fee is $30 per class.
  2. All racers need to purchase a separate insurance through ISR insurance and bring verification that they have done so at check-in. This can be either a card or the printed confirmation. This will be for a single event insurance at a cost of $30 if done prior to check in. http://isrlicense.com/
  3. Check-in and late registration ($10 late fee) is on Thursday, March 8 at the Holiday Inn from 5 pm to 8 pm. This time will be used to verify that we have all waivers signed and on file, verify what classes the racer is registered for, verify that the ISR insurance has been purchased, and to receive and purchase (if necessary) the pit passes and weekend passes for family and friends.
  4. NO!!!! Late registrations will be allowed before the races on Friday and Saturday. Last chance to register is Thursday night with a $10 late fee.
  5. All snocross racers are to park in the second parking area; vintage has the first parking area.
  6. Teching of all sleds will be at the Wilkes trailer from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday and Saturday. ALL sleds need to be teched prior to racing; remember that brake and head lights need to be functioning. The top three sleds will be teched after the final races each day. Make sure your child knows where to park the sled if they are in the top three.
  7. Drivers meeting at the Wilkes trailer at 11:45 am. We will not be coming to find you. You need to be at the meeting.
  8. Racing starts at 12 pm (noon) after the vintage races. Be ready to go! There are no speakers in the pits, so we will not be waiting for you.

Because of the weird weather pattern or lack there of....we have moved the year end race to the Expo weekend. There will be year end awards and weekend awards handed out on Saturday, March 10 at 6:30 pm at the Holiday Inn.
