McIntosh and Bailes Master NOW600 Mountain West at Jackpine Gypsies

STURGIS, S.D. (June 3, 2018) - The third time was the charm for the Mountain West Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hoosier Racing Tire on Saturday night as the series finally got their first event at Jackpine Gypsies Short Track.

Doug McIntosh topped the Winged A-Class victory while Nikko Bailes clinched the Restricted 'A' Class Main Event on Saturday.

McIntosh started in third position at the drop of the 20-lap feature event. McIntosh maneuvered his way to the top spot and claim the victory. Logan Hershey claimed the runner up spot after starting sixth on the grid. Tom Peterson advanced two spots to come home third. Marting Hansen and Nick Olson brought up the top five.

Ryan Fulk crossed in sixth. Seventh went to Zach Kostaneski. Wren Jacobs was eighth and Brad Olson ninth.

The NOW600 Mountain West Region will return to action in two weeks for a special two night appearance at the Jackpine Gypsies Short Track in Sturgis, South Dakota.
