Kastner Returns to Victory Lane at Dacotah Speedway
Craig Kastner dove low into corners one and two to grab the lead from pole sitter Breanna Gartner in the Johnson's Wrecking IMCA Sport Compact feature. As Gartner started to fade through the pack, Kastner stretched his lead over the field. Second place Andy Reed had his hands full with a speedy Christopher Zenz. Zenz, who started ninth, passed Reed for second on lap two, bringing Seth Howe-Kellar with him. As the laps wound down, Reed started to fall into the clutches of Stan Thompson. With two laps to go, Reed and Thompson were side by side for fourth. Coming to the white flag, Thompson passed Reed for fourth. Andy Reed had to settle for the fifth position, behind fourth place Stan Thompson. Points leader Seth Howe-Kellar finished third while Christopher Zenz finished second behind feature winner Craig Kastner. The feature victory was Kastner’s second feature win of the season at Dacotah Speedway.
