RACE OF CHAMPIONS LATE MODEL AND SUPER STOCK SERIES RETURN TO THE TRACK @ HILLSIDE BUFFALO IN HOLLAND THIS COMING SATURDAY
The Race of Champions Late Model and Super Stock Series will return to the high banks of The Track @ Hillside Buffalo this coming Saturday night.
Sam Fullone of North Collins, N.Y., visited victory lane when the Late Model Series visited back in July.
“We are really looking forward to trying to get back to victory lane,” stated Fullone. “It felt good to be back on the high banks. Hopefully we can keep running well and put on a good show for the fans on Saturday.”
Eldon King, III of Delavan, N.Y., currently leads the championship standings over Fullone by 19.
In addition to the Late Models returning to Holland the Race of Champions Super Stock Series will take part in the Saturday, September 1, event. Tim Gullo of Elmira, N.Y., currently leads the championship standings by 15 markers over Joe Mancuso of Buffalo, N.Y.
“We have a competitive Series,” offered Gullo. “The last race, there were three of us that ran for the win, Joe (Mancuso) and Tom (Baron), it was a great race and I wouldn’t expect anything different on Saturday. We are really looking forward to it.”
The grandstands will open at 3:00 pm with Qualifying beginning at 4:00 pm for the Saturday, September 1, 2018 event.
