Modified Madness rescheduled for this Friday, June 28; IMCA Sport Mods running Wayne Hicks Memorial

OSBORN, Mo. – US 36 Raceway has tried twice to run Modified Madness presented by St. Joseph Beverage and twice the event has been plagued by weather. Attempt number three has been rescheduled for this Friday, June 28.

The IMCA Sport Mods will run the Wayne Hicks Memorial Sport Mod Shootout as part of the event, which will pay a $966 check to the winner. The 20-lap feature will pay $86 to start.

The IMCA Modifieds will race for $1,000 to win and $150 to start. The E-Mods also get a payout bump as their feature now pays $400 to win and $66 to start.

At the end of the night, the IMCA Sport Mods will also run the Shocker Chassis Six Pack Shootout. The top six eligible drivers in votes will participate in the event at the end of the night.

The IMCA Winged Sprints, IMCA Stock Cars and Pure Stocks are also on the card to the event. The pit gates open at 5 p.m. The grandstands open at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7:30 and racing starts at 8 p.m. Tickets for the race are $15 for general admission, $12 for senior and military, $5 for children seven to 12 years of age and children six and younger are free.
