IRONMAN WEEKEND UP NEXT FOR NATIONAL/WEST MIDGETS

PEVELY, MO. (July 30, 2019) – Back-to-back nights of POWRi Lucas Oil National / West Midget League competition awaits race fans and drivers this weekend. Running alongside the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, the POWRi Midgets are scheduled for Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3 appearances at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55.

Bringing the best of both worlds, fans will be offered a unique viewing experience between the midgets and sprint cars. Before Friday’s stop at I-55, you’d have to go back to April 28 to find the last time the POWRi National Midgets and World of Outlaws Sprint Cars shared the same docket.

Holding a narrow point lead, Jesse Colwell of Red Bluff, Calif. currently sits atop the championship chase and guides Jake Neuman, Zach Daum, Ace McCarthy and Logan Seavey. On the POWRi West side, Andrew Felker of Carl Junction, Mo. has a massive 1,010-point advantage over Hank Davis in the pursuit of the title.

Both nights at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, the pit gates will open at 2:00pm with the grandstands opening at 4:00pm, hot laps and qualifying are set for 6:30pm with opening ceremonies and racing slated for 7:30pm.
