Race of Champions

Lake Erie Speedway, June 26 & 27, 2020 - Pre-Event Registration and Procedures

To Our Competitors, Participants and Team Members;

We know there are many questions in regard to the event at Lake Erie Speedway and this e-mail will begin to answer them one-by-one.

We will be switching to contactless transactions, if you have an issue with this, please e-mail info@rocmodifiedseries.com and we will make alternate arrangements, please know that alternate arrangements must be justified.

There will be an event registration, that in the event we can run multiple events this season, will count toward your “full” season membership. The static costs of startup remain for all of us. You may have to create an account The registration can be found here;

https://www.myracepass.com/series/1810/registrations/2585

In regard to payoff, registration for the event will be mandatory. A W-9 is loaded on the website, it must be filled out, completely, if it is scanned and returned, it must be legible. If this is not something that is completed, you will not be paid. Unfortunately, we can't chase you down for this information based on the conditions which we must operate under. This can be found here;

DRAWS: All draws will be done by the MyRacePass website draw generator and will be posted before practice with the exception of the Modified draw.

The Modified draw will be posted 30-minutes prior to "tire sales beginning" for this event.

Modified Tires will be purchased, picked and mounted at the event. A team may choose to provide a credit card for payment at the time of purchase (we also have other options) or send a check with the team representative at the time of sale. Tires must be paid for prior to them leaving the tire sale area.

For the Modifieds, tires will still be sold in a group format. The tire groups will be the same as the original group post. We will permit two teams (one person from each team) for 3 minutes per team. We understand how critical tire sizing is, however due to social distancing, this will be the policy moving forward until things return "closer to normal". There will be plenty of tires available for the event and to satisfy each team's needs.

Sportsman Tires purchased at Erie will follow similar procedures as the Modifieds as well as all serial numbers for tires being logged. If tires were not purchased from the Race of Champions, those tires will not be permitted into competition for the event.

Super Stock , Four Cylinder and TQ Midget tires are available for purchase, please contact info@rocmodifiedseries.com for tire purchasing procedures. All tires must have a form of payment presented at the time of pickup.

There are used 1070 tires available. Please contact us for information in regard to the used tire allotment.

Fuel: We intend to place a fuel order if there is enough demand. Fuel must be paid for in advance. We are working on having VP service the event and an update will be made on that situation in the coming days.

To order Fuel, please contact info@rocmodifiedseries.com with your fuel request and contact information. We will verify and verify payment. Prices will remain similar (if not the same as last season).

Payoff will be via check for all divisions.

The pit area will be closed 1 hour after the conclusion of the final event and all trailers and teams must leave. Congregation will not be permitted in the pit area.
