Larson, Brandies, Paris, Shady, and White, all find their way to victory lane at the Maquoketa Speedway

92 Cars checked into the Maquoketa Speedway on a warm Saturday night. On hand were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Rec Chassis / Gade Motor Company IMCA Stock Cars, Jackson County Fairboard Sport Compacts, and the Karls Auto Salvage IMCA Hobby Stocks.

4 heat races and 2 b mains were needed to set the 24 car IMCA Sport Mod field. Corey Kuntzelman and Jerry Miles led the field to the drop of the green flag. Kuntzelman was able to put the 47 out front early. A lap 6 restart allowed the 17c of Shane Paris to take over the lead, leaving Chance Huston and Kuntzelman to fight it out for 2nd. Shane Paris was able to hold onto the lead and take the checkered flag. Chance Huston held on for 2nd with Cory Kuntzelman, Jerry Miles, and Tyler Soppe rounded out the top 5. Jacob Arp, Jerry Miles, Shane Paris, and Dakota Cole were heat race winners, Justin Becker and Matt Irwin won the B Mains.

Mitch Current and David Brandies led the Rev Chassis / Gade Motor Company IMCA Stock Cars to the green. Brandies jumped out front and took the early lead. Lap 6 would see the 22 of Timmy Current get around Brandies for the lead. A Lap 9 mishap in turn two, sent Current and the z50 of Joe Zrostlik to the rear putting Brandies back on the point. David Brandies was able to hold onto the lead and take the win. John Oliver Jr came home 2nd, followed by Dustin Vis 3rd. Joe Zrostlik was able to work his way back up to a 4th place finish, with Chase Zaruba finishing 5th. Chase Zaruba and David Brandies won the heat races.

The Jackson County Fairboard Sport Compacts were up next. Ashley Reuman and Andy Wagener would set the front row. Reuman would lead the first lap giving it up to the T78 Tyler Shady. Tyler Shady went on to lead the remainder of the laps and take the win. Cody Staley worked his way up to finish 2nd, followed by Dustin Forbes 3rd, Ashley Reuman 4th, and Tim Sibley finishing 5th. Heat race winners were Tyler Shady and Dustin Forbes.

A caution filled Karls Auto Salvage IMCA Hobby Stock feature was up next. Lane Vohringer and Jordan Miles led the field to the start. Vohringer took advantage of the front row to jump out to the early lead. A lap 8 caution and a rollover on the restart would allow the 65 of Steve Cox to take the lead. Cox was able to hold the lead until the white flag lap when Brandon White took over and took the checkers. Steve Cox held on for 2nd, with Jordan Miles and David Crimmins finishing 3rd and 4th. David Crimmins and Randy Lamar were the heat race winners.

19 IMCA Modifieds hit the track last for their 20-lap feature. Tom Pestka and Austin Blume led the field to the drop of the green. Blume was able to jump out front and take the early lead, while Matt Short and Jeff Bone Larson battled for 2nd. With no cautions slowing them down lap cars would come in to play. Larson was able to take the lead on lap 14 and never looked back. Bone Larson went on to win his second straight feature at the Maquoketa Speedway, Austin Blume held on for 2nd, followed by Matt Short 3rd, Bryce Garnhart 4th, with Timmy Current bringing home 5th place. Heat race winners were Steve Johnson, Ryan Duhme, and Bryce Garnhart.
