NOSA Sprint Car Special - Race Results & Recap

It was a race against the impending weather last night for the NOSA Sprint Car Special at the Jamestown Speedway sponsored by Eddy Funeral Home (Eddy's)! All of the feature events, but the Wissota Street Stocks were completed. Wissota Street Stock drivers, we will make an announcement regarding the make-up date for the feature in August in the near future. Otherwise, it was a good night of racing at the Jamestown Speedway and a lot of hard fought battles occurred throughout the night

Once again, the Jamestown Speedway track prep crew knocked it out of the park. The track was in a great shape as it had multiple grooves and a lot of side by side battles with great racing. Great job to the track prep crew for their hard work in providing an awesome surface for the drivers even with the weather quickly approaching. In total, we had 94 cars in the pits to do battle on Saturday Night.

Congratulations goes out to our feature winners and runner-ups:

  • Winner: A.J. Davenport, Runner-Up: Travis Edinger

  • Last corner pass for the win!

  • Unfortunately, no victory lane or runner-up photos tonight due to the impending weather

Once again, thank you to all of the drivers, fans, sponsors, and track personnel that came out to the show on Saturday night. We really appreciate everyone's support at the Jamestown Speedway and we have to thank everyone for coming out. We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see everyone back throughout the season.

Next week, we have the weekend off from racing as the North Dakota Governor's Cup is occurring at the Dacotah Speedway in Mandan and the Red River Modified Tour is occurring at the Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo. Please join us the following week on August 8th for the 2nd appearance of the Steffes Wissota Street Stock Tour at the Jamestown Speedway! Also, don't forget about the Monster Trucks on Wednesday, August 5th!
