Team 1HD Leaves Jackson With Another Top 5...
Driver Jason Tostenson and Team 1HD rolled into the Jackson Speedway in Jackson, MN for one last final tune-up this past Saturday Night. With the team racing in two weeks at the Jackson Nationals we kinda felt it was needed to get one more run in.
The team started out the night with another terrible pill draw. That being said Driver Jason Tostenson who is getting quite use to starting last in his heat races this year would make a couple moves and work his way from last to 4th.
The Team found themselves starting 6th in the feature on a very slick track. When the green flew, Jason backed up a few spots with a car that was little loose but after 4 or 5 laps, rubber started to go down and the car got better and better. In the end Jason would bring the 1HD sprinter home in the 5th position for another solid run at Jackson!!
The team has struggled a little this year with forward bite off the corners but we seemed to get it alot closer Saturday Night. In hindsight there are always a few things you can do. We made sure to take note as we are thinking we will be seeing the same track conditions in two weeks!! Hope to see everyone there at the Jackson Nationals..
