Friday Night Lights highlight week 2 at Tulsa Speedway
by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (June 21, 2021) - After a successful opening weekend with an overflow crowd of 2,000 plus on hand, racing resumes this Friday with Friday Night Lights.
Last weekend 19 sprints were on hand for the ASCS Sooner Regional event that was won by veteran Danny Smith. Chris Bales and Chris Wilson battled wheel-to-wheel in the factory stock feature swapping the lead several times before Bales prevailed at the checkered. John Potter raced green to checkered in B-mod action.
Friday’s show will be the seasons first points race for champ/305 sprints, factory stocks, B-mods, mini stocks and junior mini stocks.
Pits open at 4 p.m. with spectator gates open at 5. Pit passes are $30, grandstand admission $10.
