Blaney Seeking Strong Finish to Standout Season at World Finals This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – HARTFORD, Ohio (Nov. 3, 2015) – Dale Blaney is entering his final weekend of racing this season looking for an exclamation point on a stout year.

Blaney and the Mainstream Holdings, Inc., backed CH Motorsports team will compete this Thursday through Saturday at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C., for the Bad Boy Buggies World of Outlaws World Finals with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.

“It’s a great event,” he said. “It’s continued to grow every year. I’m looking for 60 drivers to be there. There’s going to be the five best guys from Knoxville, the five best guys from Pennsylvania and I’d say the five best with the All Stars. It’s a who’s who of the best around the country.”

The Mainstream Holdings, Inc., sponsored team has recorded 16 feature triumphs and Blaney recently celebrated his sixth UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions title.

“I think it’s on par with last year,” Blaney said about the level of success this year has produced. “We won 21 races (last year), but we only won one Outlaws race. We’ve won two Outlaws races this year. I’ve never won three Outlaws races in a year and I have two shots to get it done.”

Blaney scored a World Finals triumph at the 4/10-mile oval in 2012 when he led the second half of the race.

“It’s a good track for us,” he said. “It fits our style. It can get wide and really slick and you can race all over it. We’ve had some success in the past. I have high expectations. It gives you a chance to compete against the best of the best. We’ve had success this year against everybody. It’d be a good cap to a great year if we run well.”
