Lawson Racing competed with the WoO over the weekend
Lawson Racing competed with the World of Outlaws this past Sunday at the Nodak Speedway. This years event was moved up into June from it's traditional August date. The race in Fargo was moved to the August date. 26 cars were on hand for the event. I would go out and qualify 24th and Kevin 26th. Kevin would be in the 2nd heat and finish 9th and I was in the 3rd heat and would finish 7th. That would put us both in the Last Chance Showdown with the top 6 moving onto the A main. Off the start, I settled into 6th and was just worming to maintain that position. The car was working really well and was just clicking off laps when a yellow came out for the 2nd place car quit. That moved me into 5th and Kevin into 6th. Off the restart, I had a good battle with Jack Croaker, but would finish in 5th and Kevin in 6th. We would transfer to the A main. It's a highlight of the year when you can be in the Outlaws 4 wide salute to the fans. I would finish in 23rd and Kevin in 24th. Now we are back in action this weekend up at the Estevan Motor Speedway for the Energy Ciry Sprint Car Showdown. It is a doubleheader this weekend, Friday and Saturday.
