Inside Line Promotions – BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Feb. 19, 2019) – Kraig Kinser will tackle a pair of Texas tracks this weekend.

Kinser and the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series venture to Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige on Friday and LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore on Saturday for the East Texas LoneStar Shootout.

“After Florida you have a little break to go to the shop and regroup,” he said. “I feel like our car was handling well so I’m looking to get back to the track to see exactly where we are.”

Kinser has two career starts at Cotton Bowl Speedway, where he finished 20th during his debut in 2016 and 11th last year.

Kinser’s career-best result in a handful of starts at LoneStar Speedway was a third-place run during his debut in 2004. He also placed eighth in 2010 and finished 10th twice in 2009 before maneuvering from 20th to 11th in 2017 to garner the Hard Charger Award for passing the most cars.

“Knowing that you can move through the field is positive,” he said. “Our goal is to start toward the front, but it’s nice to know we’ve had some success at the track when things weren’t going to plan. That’s always a boost going to a place like that.”
