PETERSEN MEDIA- Making his way out West with the World of Outlaws, Parker Price-Miller would finish 13th during Wednesday night’s opener before taking a wild ride in the opening laps of Thursday night’s feature event.
“Man, we took a big one on Thursday night in a racing deal but fortunately we are safe and able to race on this week,” Parker Price-Miller said.
Getting his two-night stay in Las Vegas, NV underway on Wednesday night, Price-Miller would lay down a great lap in time trials as he earned fast time honors in his group aboard the Indy Race Parts/HRP Specs/Chalk Stix backed No. 71P machine.
Finishing fifth in heat race action, the driver who hails from Kokomo, IN would move into the 30-lap feature event where he would take the green flag from the 18th starting position.
Amidst a star studded field of drivers attacking the Sin-City half mile, Price-Miller would prove to be up for the task as he would go toe-to-toe with some of the sport’s best.
Flirting with position inside the Top-10 during the latter stages of the race, Price-miller would accept the checkered flag with a 13th place finish.
Returning to action Thursday night, PPM would get his night underway by timing in ninth quickest in qualifying time trials. Starting and finishing fifth in heat race competition, Price-Miller would again transfer directly into the 30-lap feature event.
From the 17th starting position, Price-Miller would look to get off to a good start but coming out of turn four on the race’s opening lap, PPM would make contact with another competitor and it would result in him taking a wild ride in front of the grandstands.
Though he was able to climb from the wreckage, his night would be finished.
“I was looking to get off to a good start with the rubber coming, and me and another car met trying to run the same line and I ended up taking a big one,” Price-Miller said. “It was a total racing deal, and we will be okay this weekend in Tulare, CA. Thank you to everyone who reached out, and to everyone that supports this team.”
Price-Miller and his team would like to thank Indy Race Parts, HRP Specs, Chalk Stix, Howard Johnson of Lima, Maxim, Wilwood, and Keizer Wheels for their support in 2019.
