Inside Line Promotions – PLACERVILLE, Calif. (March 26, 2019) – Robbie Price made the most of his weekend off by venturing home for a quick visit thanks to wet weather in California.

The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series races last weekend rained out, giving Price an opportunity to fly to his native British Columbia. However, the weekend away from the race track wasn’t completely a weekend off for Price, who has been busy trying to make his 410ci winged sprint car program better.

“I’ve expected to do better than we have, but I’m trying some different stuff,” he said. “We’ve struggled setup-wise adjusting the 410 program. The only time we usually run the 410 is late into the summer when everything is slick. I usually don’t have a problem with a hooked-up track in the 360, but I didn’t realize how much I had to change my 410 program.

“I’ve been on the phone with our shock guy. We’re going to try a couple of different bar combinations, too.”

Price is planning on competing with the World of Outlaws this Friday at Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, Calif., and Saturday at Perris Auto Speedway in Perris, Calif., during the SoCal Showdown.

“I did one race at Hanford a few years back and I’ve never been to Perris,” he said. “My goal is to put it in the show each night. We want to get better and learn and grow our program. Hopefully the changes we’re making will be a step in the right direction.”
