AGCO Jackson Nationals Around the Corner for Jackson Motorplex

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Aug. 10, 2016) – Jackson Motorplex is closing in on its biggest event of the season.

The 38th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals is less than a month away and this year will feature three straight nights of action with the National Sprint League, Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour and Heartland Racing Association invading the half-mile oval Sept. 2-4.

The opening night on Friday, Sept. 2, will showcase preliminary action for the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour with the National Sprint League’s preliminary night on Sept. 3. The HRA non-wing sprint cars are slated to race both nights.

The event finale on Sunday, Sept. 4, will pay $25,000 to the winner of the National Sprint League main event and $10,000 to the winner of the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour race.

Danny Lasoski and Craig Dollansky are immersed in a tight battle for the National Sprint League championship. The duo has exchanged the lead in the championship standings five times this season and are currently separated by only 82 points.

Sam Hafertepe Jr. is the current Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour points leader. Hafertepe Jr. has used a series-leading six feature victories to build a 115-point lead over Johnny Herrera, who has won four times with the series.

Adult tickets for the AGCO Jackson Nationals are $25 for Friday night, $30 for Saturday and $35 for Sunday or $75 for all three nights with a weekend pass. Reserved seats will be available for sale online at http://www.JacksonMotorplex.com.

As a reminder, there is no racing this weekend at Jackson Motorplex. The next event is Aug. 20 and will feature Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks, Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts and After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA stock cars.
