Star Studded Weekend Ahead for Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprints

This weekend, May 20th and 21st is quickly shaping up to the biggest weekend for sprintcar racing in Wisconsin ever. Tony Stewart's Arctic Cat All Stars Circuit of Champions(ASCoC) are heading north to do battle with Wisconsin's finest, the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association(IRA).
When the rigs roll into Wisconsin this weekend, multi-time ASCoC champion Chad Kemenah will lead the largest field of All Stars to ever visit the Badger state. The field just keeps getting bigger, as ASCoC owner Tony Stewart will be bringing his Rush Truck Centers 14 machine with him, and we will be joined by the latest World of Outlaws Feature winner and 2017 IRA feature winner, Parker Price-Miller. California's Rico Abreu will also be making the trip to Wisconsin for these two huge shows.

The travelers will have their work cut out for them this weekend if they want to leave Wisconsin with victories. Jeremy Schultz is a 3 time and defending Wilmot Raceway champion as well as the defending IRA champion and last year’s dash winner during the Wilmot ASCoC race, he will be a strong contender to walk away with the checkered flag Saturday night. But Jeremy will not only have to contend with the huge group of out of state drivers, but also the IRA’s own Matt Vandervere, who has proven he can navigate the tricky Wilmot Raceway as good as anyone.
2017 IRA point leader Scotty Thiel proved last year that he can run Wilmot as well as anyone when the All Stars came to town, but he must have Angell Park circled on his calendar as he was victorious there twice last year and will definitely be someone to watch this coming Sunday. The Thone Motorsports machine will be back on track this weekend with Justin Henderson behind the wheel, and they proved 2 weeks ago that is a potent combination that will be tough to beat this weekend.
All the traveling drivers must certainty have their eyes set on the Rhine Auto 17B as the car to beat though, as Bill Balog has proven time and time again he is one of the best in the country. The last time Tony Stewart strapped into a car in Wisconsin he battled hard all race with Balog and beat him by a bumper, and last year when the Outlaws rolled into Beaver Dam Wi, it was Balog standing on top of the podium at night's end. With two wins on the season already the North Pole Nightmare must be a fan favorite to claim the checkered flag both nights this coming weekend.

Saturday the pit gate will open at 3, and grandstands at 5. Tickets are $28 for adults, children 6-11 $5 and children under 6 are free. Sunday Pit Gates Open at 2:00 and grandstands at 4:30. Ticket are $30 for adults, students 12 to 18 $20, Kids (under 12) free with adult.
