Helms Tackling All Star Tripleheader This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – FINDLAY, Ohio (April 12, 2016) – Caleb Helms returns to competition this weekend with an Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions tripleheader on tap.
“Fingers are crossed that we have some good weather and can get all three races in,” he said. “The weather has postponed our All Star points opener twice so I’m just really looking forward to getting back on the track.”
Helms will kick off the weekend on Friday at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, where he finished in the top 20 during all three All Star races he competed in last season.
“I like racing at Attica,” he said. “It’s usually a really racy track that allows you to pass cars. We finished 10th during the Ohio Speedweek show there last year so we’ve had some good results. We just need to put down a good qualifying lap to set ourselves up for a successful night.”
Saturday will feature the team tackling Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio. Helms earned a ninth-place result during his most recent visit to the track and he has a top-10 finish there during each of the last five years.
“It’s fun to race at Wayne County,” he said. “We won a race there in 2012 and have had a lot of good runs there so we have a lot of confidence going to Wayne County.”
Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pa., wraps up the weekend on Sunday. Helms finished 15th during the All Star event there last season.
“We don’t have many laps there, but I remember it’s a historic and unique track,” he said. “I always enjoy that type of atmospheres.”
