Swindell Set for Blazin’ Racin’ Debut With All Stars Saturday at Eldora Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – GERMANTOWN, Tenn. (Oct. 3, 2016) – Sammy Swindell certainly knows how to get around Eldora Speedway.
He has recorded 21 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series feature victories (ranked second all time) and five Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions wins (ranked ninth all time) at the half-mile oval near Rossburg, Ohio, during his storied career.
“It’s been a good track for me,” he said. “I think I’ve got a pretty good feel for the race track and what I need there. I’m looking forward to going there and picking up another win.”
Swindell is heading to this Saturday’s All Star event at the track, where he will make his debut driving for Blazin’ Racin’.
“It’s a new challenge,” he said. “I’ve worked with (Blazin’ Racin’ General Manager) Greg McCormick before, but it’s a new team and the car is a little different. I expect to have a good night.”
Swindell last visited Victory Lane at the iconic track in 2014 during the Kings Royal preliminary night. His last All Star win at the oval came in April 2006 when he swept a doubleheader.
