Rico Abreu secured his fourth All Star Circuit of Champions victory of the 2016 season on Saturday night at Eldora Speedway; leading all 30 circuits of the non-stop, Sprintacular main event. Abreu started third on the feature grid, taking command before the completion of lap one. The California native wasted no time and began to stretch his advantage right from the drop of the green flag; extending his lead to nearly three seconds by lap three. For Rico and the Paul Silva managed team, the Eldora Speedway victory was the second of his career at The Big E during Arctic Cat All Star competition.
Cooler fall temperatures didn’t keep HENCHCRAFT from being hot. Two names that have set the pace all season continued to do so in their respective regions. Jordan Poirier made the long haul from Beloeil, Quebec to pick up the Empire Lightning Sprint win at I-88 Speedway in Afton NY. Poirier started on the pole and led every lap of the race with father Yannick Poirier finishing second for the HENCHCRAFT 1-2.
Jason Billups clinched his 9th win of the season and seventh at I-35 Speedway. Like a record that keeps on playing, the Midwest Lightning Sprints would see Jason Billups win the heat race and feature. Presley Truedson from MN hauled in and would impress as she raced to a solid second place on the night. Both driver in HENCHCRAFT equipment.
