Twelve Consecutive Nights of Bacon!
Lonnie Wheatley, WINCHESTER, Ind. (May 22, 2018) – A dozen straight nights of Bacon at as many different racetracks commences on Wednesday night at Indiana’s Terre Haute Action Track.
And it will be served up in all varieties across a multitude of sanctions including winged, non-wing, Midget style and a Silver Crown portion.
After a weekend washout with USAC Amsoil National Sprint Car events getting drenched at Granite City, Illinois’ Tri-City Speedway and Pevely, Missouri’s Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway this past weekend, Brady Bacon will compete in a total of 17 different events over 12 consecutive nights beginning on Wednesday.
It all begins with USAC National Sprint Car competition at the Terre Haute Action Track, where the Broken Arrow, OK, native has a string of consecutive top-ten runs that includes a 2014 triumph.
From there, Bacon jumps into the Klatt Enterprises No. 6 USAC Silver Crown entry for Thursday night’s event at the Indiana State Fairgrounds before putting the wing atop the Brady Bacon Racing No. 99 410-ci Sprint Car for three Ohio nights including All Star competition at Attica Speedway on Friday night, a FAST 410 tilt at Fremont Speedway on Saturday and then another All Star card at Waynesfield Raceway Park on Sunday. He will also compete in the 360-ci portion of Sunday’s Waynesfield event.
Bacon will double the number of winged nights for the No. 99 entry thus far this season while joining in on Monday’s World of Outlaws event at Indiana’s Lawrenceburg Speedway before embarking upon six nights of Indiana Midget Week competition beginning on Tuesday night, May 29. Bacon is currently slated to pull double-duty on four of six Midget Week events by also competing among the non-wing 410-ci Sprint Car ranks as well.
The two-time USAC National Sprint Car champion enters Wednesday’s Terre Haute event looking to climb from eighth and will go into Indiana Midget Week sitting a close sixth in points with just two events in the books.
