All Star Circuit of Champions

Tony Stewart’s All Stars will challenge Pennsylvania Posse on four consecutive nights

MAVTV Motorsports Network will join All Stars at Grandview, Williams Grove and Lincoln

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (August 21, 2019) - Pennsylvania will be ‘home sweet home’ to Tony Stewart’s Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 during the coming weekend, set to invade Posse Country for four straight nights of competition beginning Thursday evening, August 22, at Grandview Speedway near Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania.

Certainly a high octane weekend in the Keystone State, the All Stars and Pennsylvania Posse will battle at four different facilities during their four day visit, participating in five main events resulting in 135 laps of feature competition. All in all, the traveling All Stars will chase a total winner’s share reaching $23,000 beginning with a $5,000 payday to activate the weekend on Thursday.

Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, will host the All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday evening, August 23. Headlining a monster program at the world-famous half-mile, the annual Jack Gunn Memorial will be the main attraction at Williams Grove Speedway featuring a pair of 20-lap main events, each awarding a $4,000 top prize. The A-main finish of the first 20-lapper will help set the field for the second 20-lapper. A pill draw conducted at the conclusion of the first feature will determine the number of cars inverted for the start of the second.

The ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, will have their fair share of All Star competition on Saturday evening, August 24. Similar to their visit to Grandview two nights prior, the All Stars will chase a $5,000 winner’s share in the Pigeon Hills.

Justin Snyder’s Salute to the Troops event at BAPS Motor Speedway will conclude the All Star weekend road trip on Sunday evening, August 25. Like the events at Grandview Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, the Sunday night showstopper will award a $5,000 payday.

Six-time champion and all-time Series win leader, Dale Blaney, will lead the All Star charge into Central Pennsylvania on Thursday afternoon. The Hartford, Ohio-native is on top of the driver title chase by ten markers, barely keeping recent winner and Clute, Texas-native Aaron Reutzel at bay. Reutzel, who owns seven victories on the season including a recent win at Plymouth Speedway on August 17, owned the All Star point lead until a ‘DNF’ finish at I-96 Speedway on Friday, August 16, erased his command.

Rudeen Racing’s Cory Eliason will enter the weekend third in the driver championship chase, followed by Nashville’s Paul McMahan and former Posse full-timer, Brock Zearfoss.

MAVTV Motorsports Network, the official television home of the All Star Circuit of Champions in 2019, will be on hand to capture action from Grandview Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, respectively, during the coming weekend. All three events will be aired on MAVTV Motorsports Network via tape-delay broadcast beginning October 13.
