ASCS Speed Week comes to Tulsa Speedway on Friday
by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (July 27, 2021) - A couple of Tulsa area drivers are at the top of the American Sprint Car Series standings when the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour visits Tulsa Speedway on Friday.
Matt Covington of Glenpool leads the point standings after picking up his third win of the season Saturday in Amarillo. Four time winner Blake Hahn of Sapulpa holds down second.
A field of drivers from across the country will converge in Tulsa for their first visit to Tulsa Speedway as part of ASCS Sprint Week Tour that will see the traveling series hitting eight tracks over nine days.
Factory Stocks and B-Mods will also be racing.
Grandstands open at 5 p.m. with racing getting underway at 8.
