Rain Washes Out ASCS Gulf South at GTRP; Saturday at Battleground Still On
BEAUMONT, Texas (March 11, 2015) Heavy rain with more coming has forced the management of the Golden Triangle Raceway Park to call off events scheduled for Friday, March 13 with the Southern Trailer Works ASCS Gulf South Region presented by Griffith Truck and Equipment.
Races this weekend however are not completely washed out, as Saturday night at the Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas are still a go with gates opening at 3:00 P.M. Fans can tour the Pits between 5:00 P.M. and 5:30 P.M. Hot Laps will get underway at 6:15 P.M. with races at 7:00 P.M. All times are Central.
The Southern Trailer Works ASCS Gulf South Region presented by Griffith Truck and Equipment will be joined by Limited Modifieds, Classic Dwarfs, Pure Stocks, and Eco-Stocks. For more information on the Battleground Speedway, log onto http://www.battleground-speedway.com or call (832) 614-0042.
