Pipeline MD ASCS Gulf South Region Going For Two At Lonestar Speedway
KILGORE, Texas (May 21, 2024) The widely accepted start to Summer has arrived, and the Pipeline MD ASCS Gulf South Region is taking the show to the high-banked Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, Texas for a pair of nights this Memorial Day Weekend.
Running Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, the two night affair will be preceeded by an open practice on Friday night.
This weekend is the first stand-alone event of the year for the south Texas based tour, which last graced the three-eighths-mile oval in 2019. The victory went to Tony Bruce, Jr.
Friday’s practice opens at 5:00 P.M. (CDT) and is $20 for the Pits.
Saturday, May 25 opens at 3:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. Times for Sunday, May 26 move up an hour. Factory Stocks, Tuners, Limited Modifieds, and Texas Stocks are also on the card.
Lonestar Speedway is located at 3131 Farm to Market Rd 1252 EW in Kilgore, Texas. More information on the track can be found on the track's Facebook Page.
The 2024 season marks the 33rd season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours encompassing Wing and Non-Wing competition.
